

How To Use The Sauna
Heating Up
The stove takes about 1-2 hours to heat up depending on the ambient temperature (Summer usually 1-2, winter usually 2-3). We provide you with detailed step by step instructions as to how to use the wood stove to properly heat up the sauna. Once the sauna is heated to the desired temperature, it only takes a couple logs to keep it that way.
Folks using the sauna are encouraged to properly hydrate, shower, and remove all jewelry to prevent burns. Grab a towel and prepare to relax!


Session Recommendations
Beginner 150–170°F (65–75°C)

1-3 short sessions, 5–10 minutes each

Focus: getting comfortable with the heat and learning how your body reacts
Intermediate 170–185°F (75–85°C)

2-3 sessions, 10–15 minutes each

Focus: building tolerance and enjoying deeper sweating
Expert 185–190°F (85–88°C)

2-4 sessions, 15–20 minutes (max)

Focus: intense heat exposure with proper hydration and recovery
Cooling Down
Once you are finished using the sauna, it’s important to properly cool it down. This can take as little as 45 minutes but a few hours is recommended if it’s not raining/snowing.
It is recommended to drink plenty of water and electrolytes after using the sauna. Take a cool shower and soak in the benefits.


Safety Guidelines
Our Safety Guidelines are provided to you in full with your rental. Highlights include:

Sauna must remain stationary and secured during length of rental. At no point should the sauna be moved.

Only wood may be used in the wood burning stove.

Sauna temperature must not exceed unsafe temperature (190F).

No smoking or alcohol inside sauna (drinking alcohol while using the sauna is extremely unsafe)

No glass containers inside the sauna.

Users must remain hydrated and exit the sauna if feeling dizzy or unwell.

Use of a sauna can present health risks. Individuals with conditions such as heart disease, high or low blood pressure, pregnancy, respiratory conditions, heat sensitivity, or other conditions should consult a physician before using the sauna.
